The beach wedding has just been one-upped. A Sarasota company is now offering weddings on a floating chapel. Can you imagine how many times "I’m on a Boat" will be sung? Here's a snippet of the article that we posted on Twitter:
"It's probably not the venue to book for the runaway bride having second thoughts about her wedding day.
But if you fancy a wedding on the water, America's only floating chapel is bound to make walking down the aisle memorable -- if you have your sea legs.
Floating on the waters off Sarasota, Florida, ceremonies booked at the Floating Chapel on the Bay come complete with a minister in a captain's uniform.
According to Weddings on Water website, the 'magnificent' 30-by-60-foot venue 'combines the traditional setting of a church wedding with the natural beauty of the serene bay waters of Florida to create a completely unique experience.'"
