Can I have more than one flower girl?

A

Of course you can! Flower girls are generally between the ages of three and seven and are usually young relatives of the bride and groom. Brides usually choose to have between one and three flower girls in their bridal party as this is a great way to include girls too young to be junior bridesmaids (who are generally between the ages of eight and twelve).

A flower girl’s main responsibility is to precede the bride down the aisle carrying flowers or a flower basket, sometimes scattering petals as she goes. If this is too much responsibility for a young child to manage alone in front of a large group of people, it may help to have more than one of them. The flower girl will either stand with the bridesmaids during the service or sit with her parents or the bride’s family.
