Can the bride have a male attendant?

A Whether male or female, an attendant is a special friend or family member who stands up for you, supports you, and assists you on your wedding day. Traditionally, a bride chooses her sisters and closest girlfriends, while her groom selects his brothers and best male friends. Nevertheless, more and more couples are breaking convention by including both women and men on one or both sides. It is perfectly acceptable for a bride to choose her brother or close male friend to be an attendant. Although he may not want to participate in all of the traditional bridesmaid festivities, he can still support the bride by standing next to her on her big day.
