Is it ok to include my pet in my wedding?

A It is okay to include your pet in your wedding; however, you must check to see if your wedding venue allows animals or if your guests have any allergies to them. If your wedding venue doesn’t allow pets, you can always take photographs with your pet before the ceremony. Otherwise, your pet can serve as an escort, ring bearer, flower girl, groomsman, or even bridesmaid, and walk (or be walked) down the aisle or be pulled in a wagon by the ring bearer or another bridal party member. If your pet lives in a bowl or cage, consider having it on display at the ceremony or reception entrance. Aug 06, 2009
