Should you pay for your bridal parties’ hair and beauty treatments?
Expenses for attendants can add up quickly, from travel -- attendants coming from far away are expected to pay their own transportation costs – to clothing to participation in parties and showers. Keep this in mind when you ask a friend or relative to be in your wedding.
When it comes to paying for your bridal party members’ hair and makeup, there’s no traditional protocol to follow. If you want your attendants’ hair and makeup professionally done or are requiring a specific hairstyle or makeup palette, it’s a nice gesture to offer to pay for these services yourself. Your attendants are already paying for their dresses, travel, a gift, your shower, and many other expenses, so it will be much appreciated!
