A Sunset Wedding at Cambridge Beaches Resort & Spa, Bermuda
Melanie and Ryan's story: Even though they met in high school, it wasn't until years later that Melanie, a 27-year-old customer service associate at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, and Ryan, a 28-year-old photographer and web designer for Sands Multimedia, ran into each other at a restaurant in Pennsylvania and began to reconnect. They'd both been set up on dates that evening, but Melanie says by the end of the night, "we'd spent more time talking with each other than our dates." That was all it took -- and the two have been inseparable ever since.
The Details: The couple married at Cambridge Beaches in Bermuda because of the colorful cottages there. They also loved the idea of getting married at sunset, "the best time of day to have a wedding," says Melanie. The two wed on a bluff overlooking Turtle Cove Bay on a picturesque Bermuda evening. Afterward, guests joined the bride and groom on the roof deck of the resort for views of the water at sunset.
