What should I look for in an all-inclusive wedding package?

A When you’re looking at all-inclusive wedding packages for destination weddings, look for hotels that have wedding planners on staff and lots of rooms for your guests and are able to provide the catering. They might even include photography and videography.

Though all-inclusive packages are easier to book, they’re so popular that there might be other weddings booked the same day and time as yours. Ask the hotel how many weddings they manage at once and compare it to the size of the resort and the number of staff members they have. If you had a private ceremony in mind, you should also ask where on the grounds your wedding will take place, as it’s normally among all the other resort guests (read: onlookers).

It’s usually cheaper to book an all-inclusive wedding package because it includes both your wedding celebration and your honeymoon, but watch out for taxes. Aug 06, 2009
