Ascot
: A necktie with wide ends, worn around the neck and looped under the chin. Part of formal dress, it is usually made of a plain fabric, often silk. The loop, or double knot is sometimes held in place by a pin or tack.
Bow Tie
: A short necktie tied in a bowknot. May be worn with formal or semi-formal wedding attire.
Button Covers
: A decorative accessory that slips over the closed top button at the collar in lieu of a necktie or bowtie.
Cuff Links
: A decorative fastener that takes the place of a buton at the wrist. Cuff links should be worn with the jewel face to the outside of the wrist.
Cummerbunds
: A wide cloth band worn at the waist as a sash. Worn in place of a waistcoat for evening attire.
Euro Tie
: A traditional necktie that is worn with a wing collar, so that the portion of the tie around the neck is visible.
Four-in-Hand Tie
: A necktie tied in a slipknot with long ends overlapping vertically in front.
Pocket Squares
: A pocket square is a square piece of silk, linen or synthetic fabric that is worn in the left hand breast pocket of a suit or tuxedo jacket. The pocket square is usually coordinated with the vest, cummerbund or tie.
Studs
: Decorative pins that fasten alongside buttons, replacing the standard button for decorative purposes.
Suspenders
: One of two supporting bands worn across the shoulders to support trousers.
Tie Tack
: A decorative pin that secures the long pieces of a necktie together.
