Cutaway
: A men’s long coat with skirts tapering from the front waistline to form tails at the back. For formal or very formal weddings.
Dinner
: A jacket appropriate for formal evening attire.
Double Breasted
: A coat having one half of the front lapped over the other having a double row of buttons and a single row of button holes.
Suit
: A man’s suit consists of a jacket and trousers and is characterized by the same fabrication. Less formal than a tuxedo. Appropriate for informal or daytime weddings.
Tailcoat
: A man’s full dress coat with two long tapering skirts at the back. Appropriate for formal or very formal events.
Waistcoat
: A sleeveless, fitted garment that buttons at the center front with the hem normally hitting the waistline.
