What makes a good marriage proposal?

A Most women enjoy the element of surprise when it comes to a marriage proposal. It all really depends on the bride’s taste and the couple’s style. A public proposal might be perfect for some, while others might prefer a more intimate moment for two. You know your fiancee-to-be, so go with what you think she’d like best. There’s no right or wrong proposal if it’s coming from the heart. Don’t forget to tell her how much you love her. If you’re proposing in a spot where you worry you might lose the ring (like the top of a mountain), you might want to propose with a placement ring. Before buying the ring and especially before proposing, if you know asking her parents for their blessing is something your bride’s family would appreciate, make sure you do. You want to start off on the right foot with your in-laws, and it’ll probably mean a lot to your new fiance as well to know you were so thoughtful. Aug 06, 2009
