With all the things to organize and plan for a wedding, it’s hard to decide what you love most. What five wedding details were a total must for me, you ask? Here goes!
The Cake
Red velvet wedding cake with cream cheese frosting from Sarah's Pastries & Candies in Chicago. I love their cupcakes (a little too much!), so I had my heart set on having them make the cake. Yum!
The Bridesmaids
I need my girls there to keep me calm and laughing throughout the day. I can't imagine getting married without any one of these ladies standing by my side.

The Favors
MY M&M’S Shimmer Collection, for sure. Joe's all-time favorite candies are M&M's, so I thought it’d be great to incorporate these treats and add a cute, more personal touch. They’ll have personalized messages ("Jen + Joe"; “We do”) and a picture of Joe and me printed right on them. Fun!
The Father of the Bride
I’m really looking forward to having my dad walk me down the aisle. He’s the absolute best, and I'm so thrilled to have him walk me to the altar -- he's waited a long time for this (I kid!). He's not overly emotional, but I know the moment will be a real tearjerker. I can't wait to have him give me away.
The Dress
The “perfect” dress is a must for any bride. Of course, every bride will agree on that one. I've been to many bridal shops around Chicago with other friends who were getting married, and I knew Ultimate Bride was the only place I wanted to get my dress. They have everything a bride needs to look beautiful on her big day, and I adore the ladies who work there! They helped me find a dress I absolutely love and just cannot wait to wear.
