Should we use credit to pay for any wedding details?
When paying for your wedding details, it helps to be as smart as possible with your money management and spending. Put all your wedding money in one separate account, so you can easily track additions and withdrawals without getting them confused with the rest of your day-to-day funds. Pay for as many of your expenses as possible on a credit card that gives you benefits like mileage, rewards, or cash back. Make sure everyone making purchases (your fiance, your mom, etc.) are all on the same card system, allowing you to benefit from the rewards and also from the easy tracking of your purchases.
Even though you use a credit card to pay for your wedding expenses, you must keep track of every dollar you spend. Plan your wedding budget beforehand and stick to it! You don’t want to end up a pair of broke newlyweds.
Learn how to love your credit cards and stay out of credit card debt.
