One month before the big day means countdown time for you. While that fantasy cake is still just a twinkle in your cake designer's kitchen, you've still got a little time left to finish organizing the details, so don't forget to:
1. Confirm your cake delivery time with your cake designer. Make sure other wedding specialists such as your caterer, reception site coordinator, florist and wedding planner know when your cake will be delivered.
2. Give your cake designer contact information for the wedding specialists they will need to coordinate with, such as your caterer, reception site coordinator, florist and wedding planner.
3. Provide as many details about delivery as you can, including parking and loading information, the delivery time and how to get a hold of you, your wedding planner or designated point person.
4. If you don't have a wedding planner, make sure you have appointed a trusted friend or family member to oversee your cake's delivery. But remember to arm them with delivery instructions, tip money and contact information. If plans should go awry -- even just a little -- your friend should feel confident and capable of making decisions on your behalf.
