Ceremony Flowers: Arch and Chuppah

Arch

You can cover an entire wire arch in greenery and flowers, fabric, lace or even with photographs to create the perfect setting for your perfect ceremony. An arch can be created from two trees intertwined above your heads with votive candles perched on branches decorated with ribbons, laced jasmine or passion vine. Many florists own arches that they can rent to you.

All you have to choose is the shape; the pretty finishes will be your special touch. Look for canopies and arches to rent at local prop houses and specialty garden stores.

Chuppah

Used in Jewish ceremonies, a Chuppah symbolizes a shelter or home for the new bride and groom and is one of those special touches that leaves everyone a little teary eyed. You can use a prayer shawl, an old embroidered tablecloth, even a piece of soft tulle to cover the Chuppah. Then add the flowers of your choice for instant beauty.
