Can I return a wedding gown if I change my mind?

A It’s very rare that a bridal boutique will let you return a wedding gown, even if it hasn’t been altered yet. Gowns are almost always personalized in some way even before your order is taken, and you’ll most likely have to put down a nonrefundable deposit when you place your order. If you think you’ll get cold feet about the wedding gown you choose, talk to the bridal boutique about their return or exchange policy well in advance of placing any sort of order. Aug 05, 2009
