Which Shoe Styles Are Appropriate for a Bride?

A

The best shoe style for a bride begins with comfort and personalized fashion. Wear what feels good on your feet and what makes you feel stunning. These are the most popular styles of shoes that are appropriate for a bride:

Pump

A pump is a shoe that has a closed toe and a closed back. Available in almost any material, the pump is classic for brides. The appropriate heel measures between two and three inches.

Open-Toed

Peep-toe styles are currently in fashion (again), and so are strap-designed sandal pumps. Strap heels work great for a more casual wedding gown and have a very sexy feel.

Mule

Essentially a backless pump, the mule has been classic footwear for decades. Take note that the hem could get caught in the back of this shoe, however.

Flat

Flats have become more popular and can range from a ballet-slipper style to a pump-looking style and have a heel height of one inch or less.

Boot

Wedding boots should be high-heeled and fitted around the ankle. They can be made out of fabric or leather and even adorned with lace or other embellishments.
