Boutonnière: A small flower or flower arrangement intended to be worn in a buttonhole.

Burlap: A light, somewhat coarse material often used in dressmaking and upholstery, ideal for rustic favor bags.

Butcher Paper: A thick paper used for wrapping objects or artwork.

Calico: A cotton fabric with a multi-colored print.

Card Stock: A thick, stiff paper used in greeting cards.

Cellophane: A thin, transparent material often used to wrap objects.

Confetti: Candy-coated almonds (similar to Jordan almonds) commonly given as favors during Italian weddings. Also, the term for tiny pieces of paper thrown in celebration.

Cord: A thin, round, often elastic material used to wrap packages.

Doily: A small, thin mat made of lace or paper cut into a lacy pattern.

Farfallette Dolci: "Sweet butterflies" -- an Italian cookie made from little knots of fried dough dusted with sugar.

Favor: A small gift often distributed to guests at a wedding.

Felt: A cloth that is made by weaving and shrinking wool or some similar material.

Floral Tape: Thick, flexible tape often used by florists.

Fonts: Letter styles available on most computers allowing the user to replicate different forms of type.

Gingham: A cotton cloth with a checkered pattern.

Glassine: A shiny, transparent paper often used as a wrapping material.

Grosgrain: A corded fabric, often used in ribbons.
