Three Common Favor Myths Dispelled
Worried about picking the perfect favors? As you decide, be sure not to let these classic favor myths get in your way.

1. "I've got to give every one of my 250 guests a favor."
Here's a tip you won't hear from the Jordan almond industry. You don't have to give
wedding favors at all. Favors are thoughtful and fun, but if your budget's breaking, they are the first place you can make cuts. You can also provide one favor per couple.
2. "Jordan almonds are popular favors because they are so cheap."
While it's true that almonds are a wonderful economical favor, their role in weddings go back a lot farther than you might think. France, Greece and Italy are just a few countries where sugared almonds are wedding day de rigueur. The traditions vary from place to place, but the candies are often thought to symbolize the bitter and sweet in marriage.
3. "The best favors are the most expensive."
Not so! The truth is, the very best favors are those that will make your guests think of you, favors that show your sense of humor, favors that could only have been chosen by you.
