Ask Rosanna Our Editor-in-Chief answers your must-know questions
 | I'm getting married in a few months and have invited children to the wedding and reception (wish me luck!). I'm wondering if I should give the kids different wedding favors than the adults. If so, do you have any suggestions on what those favors should be? | | | As far as providing two sets of favors, it completely depends on the favors you are planning to give to the adults. If you've selected beautifully tied Jordan almonds or personalized candy bars, then by all means the same would be more than appropriate for your younger guests. However, if you are going with something like personalized luggage tags or something more "grown-up" or expensive that you know children wouldn't really appreciate, then feel free to give the kiddies something different.
If you decide to go with two different wedding party favors, for the kids I suggest edible goodies or something for them to play with--and keep them entertained--such as crayons, yo-yos or decks of cards. In the food categories, consider gourmet jellybeans, big old-fashioned lollypops, or chocolate kisses wrapped in tissue paper. Snow globes and lottery tickets are also fun choices, for kids and adults alike. |
