Do you have to personalize your wedding favors?

A Your wedding favors are meant to be mementos from your wedding, so it’s nice to make them personal. The easiest way to personalize your wedding favors without actually putting your names or wedding date on them is to choose something that has meaning for you and your groom. For example, if you both love ice cream, hand out ice cream scoops! If you love wine, corkscrews; coffee, mugs.

If you do want to personalize the traditional way, it’s okay to put your names and wedding date on things that guests can keep at home, but not anything you expect them to wear (besides to sleep in) like a shirt or baseball cap. Items like picture frames, beer glasses, or wine stoppers work well. Sep 11, 2009
