Do I have to carry a bouquet?

A Of course not! If you don’t want to carry a full bouquet, you might consider carrying a single stemmed flower or a mini bouquet. Another option is to carry something significant like a handkerchief from a grandmother, a necklace that belonged to your mom, or a baby bracelet that belonged to your father. But you can just as easily carry nothing at all. If you plan on having both your parents walk you down the aisle, it might be nice to have the free hands. If you don’t want to carry a bouquet because you don’t want to carry flowers, consider a nonfloral bouquet like one made of buttons or even paper flowers. Aug 05, 2009
