Wedding Flowers by Style

While you've probably spent hours dreaming up your wedding bouquet, chances are you've given the bridesmaid bouquets and boutonnieres less thought. Don't worry: We've got you covered. Instead of heading straight for perfect matches, choose flowers and colors that will complement each other. Read on and take inspiration from some of our favorite combinations, grouped by the look they'll help you pull off.

For a Formal Look

Even if you're dreaming of a black-tie affair, it's okay to play with flower colors. Here's how to do it right: Stick to a timeless, all-white bouquet for yourself (think lilies of the valley or peonies) and keep the bridesmaid bouquets monochromatic (or at least in the same color family). Opting for lush textured flowers, like hydrangeas, in the same shade as the girls' dresses will add dimension without overpowering the formality of your event. Get the guys in on color, too, with boutonnieres that match the bridesmaid bouquets.
