Getting the girls together for a bridal shower at a local spa is a great way to throw a party that has a little something special for everyone. Chances are you’ll all be a little overwhelmed and anxious during the month leading up to the wedding, so a relaxing shower will be good for everyone. Here are five easy steps to follow:

Do Your Research

Every spa is unique in its own way, so get to know the ones in your area. Not all of them will be able to accommodate a large group, and the ones that do may or may not have prices or availability to your liking. Ask a lot of questions and allow yourself plenty of time so you can book the spa that’s right for you.

Finalize Your Guest List

Unless you’re hosting your shower at a mega-spa, you’re going to want to keep your guest list as intimate as possible. Make sure your entire bridal party is included and then consider adding extra guests, like an aunt, grandmother, or cousin who lives close by. Once your list is confirmed, poll the girls to make sure they don’t have any allergies that will conflict with the treatments or menu you’ve planned -- the spa reps should be notified about this well ahead of time.

Plan Your Decor

Hosting the event at a spa means you may not need to bring much with you as far as decor is concerned. Group treatment rooms and party areas at most spas are already designed to be chic and lavish, so you may only need to bring the favors. Ask about the layout and setup of the spaces you’ll be using. Make sure you’re clear about how much decor they’ll let you add to the rooms and what types are permitted.

Consider the Theme

: If you’re hosting a spa shower, then the theme is relaxation and pampering, so it’s a good idea to consider that when you’re brainstorming ideas for favors and invitations.

Have Fun

No one should be stressed or frantic at this event -- it’s a spa shower! So, stay on top of all the details in advance and trust the spa reps to make sure things go as planned. All you and your guests should be doing at the shower is rejuvenating, relaxing, and celebrating the bride-to-be. Case closed.
