Wedding Day Survival Kit

Here's what you need in your emergency kit to revitalize your pretty face and hair.

Makeup 911 Kit:

  • Concealer -- For after the kisses and crying.
  • Lip color -- Keep your brilliant smile perfect all day long.
  • Foundation-- Maintain your flawless look.
  • Powder compact -- For quick touch-ups.
  • Makeup remover -- Don't let a few wedding-day tears ruin your look.
  • Mascara -- For that extra drama in your close-ups.

Hair 911 Kit:

  • Bobby pins -- Pack an assortment of sizes in your hair color.
  • A travel-size bottle of hairspray -- To keep those quick fixes in place.
  • Sculpting gel -- For major fixes.
  • Pocket brush/comb -- Naturally.

Don't Get Caught Without:

  • Safety pins -- For an unexpected tear.
  • Two bottles of nail polish -- One clear for stocking runs, and one for touching up your manicure. Remember to include a nail file for snags or rough nails.
  • Extra stockings -- In case of a bad run.
  • Tissues or a pretty hankie -- Trust us, you'll cry.
  • A needle and thread -- If you need this, you'll really need it. Include the appropriate thread for you and your Bridesmaids.
  • A headache remedy and antacid tablets -- For butterflies and stress. If you take any other medication, you should toss it into your 911 kit as well.
  • Toothbrush, toothpaste and breath mints -- To keep your smile bright and fresh.
  • Deodorant -- Keep your cool when all eyes are on you.
  • Sunscreen -- Essential for outdoor weddings.
  • Makeup Brushes -- For pre-photo touch ups.
  • Some money, including coins -- Because your mother told you to always have money to call home.

HOT TIP

Include eye drops. If your eyes have a tendency to look washed-out in photographs, a few drops between posed shots will keep those beauties bright and clear.
