Renaissance Beauty
Amy Adams’ look is soft, sexy, and feminine -- the essence of renaissance beauty!
Skin: Her skin is dewy and youthful. I like a sheer tinted moisturizer that looks like your natural skin, only better. Try Giorgio Armani Beauty’s Face Fabric Second Skin Nude Makeup SPF 12. This "invisible" makeup evens out your skin tone and enhances your skin’s natural glow. It’s one of my personal favorites; I use it on a lot of my celebrity clients.
Eyes: To re-create her sultry eyes, start with a shimmer cream lavender shadow. I like Shiseido's Hydro-Powder Eye Shadow in Violet Visions. This collection of cream eye shadow comes in vivid colors that really pop but are still soft and dreamy.
Line your eyes with a navy kohl pencil like Stila's Kajal Eye Liner in Sapphire. The kohl pencil allows you to blend to create a diffused effect -- very sexy. Try Yves Saint Laurent Mascara Volume Effet Faux Cils Luxurious Mascara in Deep Night or Fascinating Violet. I love this mascara because it comes in bold, beautiful colors and it actually expands your lashes, leaving them luxuriously voluminous.
Cheeks & Lips: Amy’s cheeks and lips have a cherry pink hue to them. Stila’s Cherry Crush lip and cheek stain is a favorite for this look, as it works on all skin tones and gives your cheeks a fresh flush. On your lips, it looks just like a stain and lasts for hours (very important for the red carpet while talking to the press and smiling for all the paparazzi!).
