You're a card-carrying member of the Sierra Club. You like nothing better than to be out in nature, free of all the trappings of our modern world. You won't be the bride fussing over makeup touchups or worrying about your hair. You like to show off your natural beauty and not be encumbered by anything showy or too girly. The same goes for your style of
wedding invitation. Though you love simplicity, it won't be the traditional simplicity of a Tiffany engraved invitation. You need something eco-centric, reflective of your love of the great outdoors.
Consider beautiful Japanese hand-pressed paper stock that actually incorporates dried flowers and greenery. Or have your
invitations individually calligraphed with natural soy inks, which will make them extra environmentally-friendly and gorgeous.
You may also want to consider using other eco-friendly papers, such as 100% recycled or biodegradable papers, or papers made from hemp. Or choose papers with deckled edges, or designs that include raffia ribbon, natural twine or hemp string.
If you're a nature girl but you don't want to stray too far away from traditional looks, choose a design that centers around a natural motif, such as a leaf, seashell or acorn. Highlight your invitation wording with sepia-colored ink and a simple flowing font. For a custom look, select a favorite photograph or image to lithograph on to unbleached craft card stock. We can see you including a favorite quote from a kindred spirit like Robert Frost, John Muir or Henry David Thoreau.
