How to Hire a Band or DJ: Last-Minute Checklist

You're counting down the days 'till the Big Day -- be sure to check your music list and check it twice!

The Song List:

At least a couple of months before the big day, review the list of songs you've given to your band or DJ for the ceremony and reception.

The Details:

Confirm arrival, parking, loading and sound check times with your musicians. Also, go over any ceremony or reception site requirements and restrictions, your wedding timeline, as well as break time, meals and attire information.

Finalize Introductions:

Who is being introduced, how, and when? Make sure your DJ or band leader is familiar with the names and pronunciations of key guests. In fact, we suggest you offer a written list of important names spelled phonetically so there's no room for error.
