 |  | Agency: An agency or individual agent will often represent talent in negotiations concerning the talent's fee. DJ agencies generally represent a stable of DJs, and when hiring a DJ, the agency might not know which DJ will service your reception until shortly before the day of the wedding. A musician's agent will negotiate for a specific musician. Agents usually receive around ten percent of the musician's fee.
