Who plans the bachelorette party?

The bride’s female friends, usually her bridesmaids, plan the bachelorette party. The effort is usually led by the maid or matron of honor, but it could be any of the girls. And the bachelorette party invite list isn’t limited to bridesmaids. Any of the bride’s female friends might be invited. The girl or girls who plan everything don’t actually pay for the whole party -- each girl pulls her own weight in contributing to the event, paying for her own drinks and dinner or other activities.
