The Classic Bride: Videography
| Like your strapless A-line gown, your three-tier cake, and the roses in your bouquet, you are most radiant in the arms of tradition. As such, you'll want a formal cinematic video, brimming with classic scenes: you walking down the aisle arm-in-arm with Dad; you and your husband exchanging vows; the the first dance; the cutting of the cake; and more. Your scenes will be timeless, evocative of true love, and enduring. For that truly classic feel, you may even ask your videographer to film in black and white, or to at least provide you with a montage or highlight reel in black and white. You'll want to find a videographer who excels in the cinematic/directed technique, providing traditional coverage -- that way you don't miss out on any must-have shots and your complete love story is told. An expert videographer in the cinematic style will do his/her best to direct or "stage" mini-scenes with the wedding party without being overly intrusive. Discuss with your videographer beforehand if you'd prefer for these skits to be more lighthearted and entertaining, or if you'd prefer a more elegant take on the whole affair. To enhance the created scenes captured on your big day, the editing of a cinematic video usually involves more special effects, titles, and music.
