Are table cameras a good idea?

A Table cameras are an easy and inexpensive way to get pictures of your wedding from the guest’s point of view, assuming your three-year-old ring bearer doesn’t grab a hold of one and take 30 pictures of the floor. The hardest part of having table cameras at the reception, aside from the toddler snatch, is getting your guests to actually use them the way you’re hoping they will. They might forget or not even notice the cameras are there until well into the evening. Make sure there’s some sort of announcement at the beginning of the reception so guests know to take the rounds and help you capture your wedding moments on film.

Many couples also send their guests home with blank CDs or USB flash drives on which they can upload the photos they took on their own cameras and send them back, so the bride and groom have even more picture options from the wedding. Couples who do that can even talk to their photographer about incorporating the guests’ pictures into the wedding photo album. Aug 06, 2009
