What are some alternatives to traditional wedding albums?

A There are lots of alternatives to your parents’ traditional wedding photo album, and many of them are digital. Instead of buying extra wedding albums to give to your parents, you could have all the images uploaded to a digital picture frame and give them that instead. If you think your parents still want something traditional, get one for yourself instead.

You can also create photo albums online (many websites offer this free service) and share them with friends and family. There are sites that let guests buy prints of your wedding photos for themselves via a password you create. You can do the same thing with your engagement and honeymoon pictures. All you have to do is send people the link.

Some photographers offer photo albums that look like coffee table art books or children’s storybooks too. An album like this will carry an additional cost, but if you’re looking for originality, it’s worth it. Aug 06, 2009
