Signage: Easy-to-read indicators or signs for your guests and service providers so everyone will be able to find the ceremony or reception site and designated parking.
Site Coordinator: The professional who orchestrates your whole event. The site coordinator helps you decide how long and where to have cocktails, what time to serve dinner, where to set up your guest book table and so forth. They are your general troubleshooter and point person for all concerns and questions.
Staging Site: When utilizing shuttles, the spot for passengers to board and disembark. Ushers are often stationed at the staging spot to assist, greet and send off the wedding guests.
Swagging: Fabric that is draped in curves usually at equidistant points along tables, pews, walls, etc.
Sweetheart Table: Some brides and grooms choose to sit at a small table for only the two of them. It is often in the center of the other tables in view of all guests. Couples find it a nice way to spend time together at the reception in addition to not having to choose which honored guests to sit with.
Torchiére: These portable torches add light and flare to your outdoor reception. They usually feature metal bases that easily pierce the ground and have hurricane lamp tops that hold votive candles. A tiki torch is a more inexpensive option that essentially does the same job but features an open flame instead of a hurricane lamp.
Valet: The attendants who monitor your parking arrangements. Often valet attendants will park cars, or run a shuttle service for your guests.
