Receptions: Special Touches for Your Destination Wedding Reception

Receptions: Destinaton Wedding Special Touches
You fell in love with that exotic locale, and you wouldn't have your wedding any place else. So when it comes time to decorate, play up your spectacular surroundings. For example:

Italy. We can't even say the words "Murano glass" without getting all silly. Set out gorgeous goblets in rich, glowing colors, and then send each guest home with one as a favor. (Can we come?)

France. Everyone knows that France is all about the wine, so decorate your banquet tables with glistening grapes in tones of champagne, white and ruby red. Not only are they lush and lovely, but they make great palate cleansers.

Mexico. Bright tropical flowers such as calla lilies, ginger and hibiscus just shout fiesta. Layer your tables with serapes topped with centerpieces of tropical blooms, and prepare to dance the night away -- to salsa music, of course. Arriba!

Morocco. The intricate turquoise tiles of Morocco look even more magnificent when lit with beaten metal lanterns and accented by the stunning settings on your dinner tables. Have a reception that celebrates color: Layer your banquet tables with embroidered material in shades of turquoise, purple and teal.
