Who cleans up after the reception?

A The staff at your venue often takes care of the postwedding cleanup after your wedding reception, but that’s something you should confirm in advance. If the cleanup is on you, talk to your parents, other family members, and friends -- hopefully a small group of people will volunteer to stay and make sure everything is in order at the end of the night. The last thing you or your groom should do on your wedding night is have to stick around to help clean up!

If you have an at-home reception, consider hiring a cleaning service for the end of the night. It’ll be a lot less stressful than worrying about placing the burden on your parents or bridal party.
